According to estimates, the volume of the gross regional product (GRP) of the Republic of Tatarstan by the end of 2023 will amount to 3,887.4 billion rubles, or 102% by 2022. Such data was presented today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.
The meeting considered such issues as the main parameters of the forecast of socio-economic development of the republic for 2024-2026; the forecast of the consolidated budget of the republic and the budget of the Territorial Compulsory Health Insurance Fund for 2024 and for the planning period of 2025 and 2026.
The meeting was held by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin and others.
According to Midhat Shagiakhmetov, mining occupies 26% of the total GRP, 17.5% - manufacturing, 10.4% - wholesale and retail trade, 7.7% - construction, 5.6% - transportation and storage, 4.3% - agriculture.
The speaker cited the following forecast economic indicators. According to estimates, GRP by the end of 2023 is expected to amount to 3,887.4 billion rubles, or 102% (to the level of 2022), industry – 4,490.8 billion rubles, or 102%, agriculture – 292.3 billion rubles, or 87.5%, construction – 643.3 billion rubles, or 106.9%, retail trade – 1,313.0 billion rubles, or 105.8%, investment – 959.9 billion rubles, or 102.1%.
At the same time, industrial production occupies 45.7% of the share of the economy (according to the estimate of 2023). Midhat Shagiakhmetov said that if by the end of 2023 the volume of shipped products is expected to reach 4,490.8 billion rubles, then in 2024 – 4,721.9 billion rubles, in 2025 – 5,104.0 billion rubles, in 2026 - 5,379.8 billion rubles.
Among the factors of fulfilling the forecast in the field of industry, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan named the following: ensuring uninterrupted efficient operation of enterprises, providing enterprises with raw materials, materials and components, maintaining safety and ensuring stable operation of equipment, building effective logistics, developing sales markets and increasing labor productivity.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov also said that all measures of federal and republican support of enterprises are used in the republic. So, in 2023, 32.8 billion rubles were allocated in the region to support system–forming enterprises (including subsidies for the development of industry – 26.1 billion rubles, FER development programs – 3.8 billion rubles, soft loans - 2.9 billion rubles). 49 billion rubles are provided for the support of small and medium–sized businesses (including preferential loans for investment and revolving purposes – 18.7 billion rubles, credit holidays and restructuring - 5.8 billion rubles, other measures).
Enterprises and organizations of the republic continue to work on establishing new cooperative ties, restructuring logistics chains, import substitution, the minister summed up.
