Tatarstan's business under the national SME project has been able to attract debt financing for a record amount of more than 10 billion rubles since the beginning of the year

Thanks to the guaranteed republican support, Tatarstan business was able to attract debt financing for a record amount of more than 10 billion rubles. Support is provided within the framework of the implementation of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship".

Since the beginning of 2023, 660 entrepreneurs Tatarstan took advantage of guarantee support for a record amount of 4.10 billion rubles. The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, provided assistance in obtaining debt financing to the business community of the Republic.

Compared to 2022, the number of sureties issued increased by 65%, and the amount of sureties issued increased by 131%.

Let us recall that the subject of the activity of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan is the provision of guarantees for the obligations of small and medium-sized businesses that, according to the conclusion of Banks, have a stable financial position, but do not have sufficient collateral to obtain a loan.

Entrepreneurs can apply for the support of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan:

• registered in RT;
• registered SMEs, as well as self-employed citizens;
• those who do not have debts on taxes and fees or who have debts of up to 50 thousand rubles;
• having no salary arrears to employees (for the last 3 months);
• the number of employees, which does not exceed 250 people;
• the revenue of which is not more than 2 billion rubles;
• not engaged in gambling and insurance services.

The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan implements a number of preferential guarantee products for entrepreneurs operating in rural areas, in the field of manufacturing, construction, services, trade (including on Internet sites), for exporters and residents of industrial and industrial parks.

The most popular product developed to support entrepreneurs under sanctions pressure is "Support – 2023". Here, the maximum amount of the guarantee of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan is 70 million rubles, the amount of the guarantee is up to 50% of the loan amount. The remuneration rate is 0.5%.

This year, 210 entrepreneurs took advantage of the "Support – 2023", which allowed them to attract debt financing in the amount of 4.5 billion rubles. The volume of guarantees issued amounted to 1.5 billion rubles.
