In Tatarstan, the amount of a microloan for young companies under the national SME project has been increased to 2 million rubles

At the request of entrepreneurs, the maximum amount of a micro-loan "Startup" has been increased from 500 thousand to 2 million rubles. Financial support at the lowest possible rate – 2% is implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship".

The micro-loan is intended for young companies. The changes also affected the life span of companies. Previously, financial support was intended only for business entities whose life span was no more than 11 months, now it is no more than 23. Support is provided for a period of up to 3 years, with the possibility of deferral on payment of the principal for 6 months.

"In Tatarstan, according to the Federal Tax Service, more than 20 thousand newly created small and medium-sized businesses have been registered since the beginning of the year. The results of statistics show that comprehensive state support for young companies reduces the barriers they may face at the beginning of their journey, creates conditions for a comfortable and productive start," the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova emphasized.

In addition, in the absence or shortage of their own collateral, startup companies can apply to the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
