Tatarstan sellers will be taught to effectively sell their products on marketplaces

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Center "My Business" of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan launches a new series of training forums-marathons "PRO_Marketplace" for the promotion of products of Tatarstan entrepreneurs on marketplaces. The first training marathon will be held from August 14 and will be dedicated to promotion on the Wildberries marketplace.

The events will be held in an online format as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship". In total, as part of the new series of training marathons "PRO Marketplace", it is planned to hold four forum marathons to promote products on Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex.Market and KazanExpress.

Within the framework of training Forums-marathons, participants will gain knowledge in the following areas:

• Marketplace overview – getting to know your personal account, possible logistics schemes;
• Product card – how to make a product card correctly, what mistakes sellers make;
• SEO optimization - what is it for and how to apply it correctly;
• Advertising tools for novice sellers;
• Advertising tools for experienced traders;
• External promotion channels;
• Competitive analysis – how to develop a promotion strategy based on competitor analysis; 
• The effectiveness of placement on the marketplace – analysis of sales statistics (analytics, reports).

To consolidate knowledge, experts will analyze the product card based on real examples, analyze errors and optimize. According to the results of the training modules and successful completion of tasks, marathon participants will receive an electronic certificate.

Schedule of training forum marathons: 

"PRO_Wildberries" – from August 14 to August 28, 2023. 

"PRO_Ozon" – from September 18 to October 2, 2023. 

«PRO_Yandex Market" – from October 16 to October 30, 2023. 

"PRO_KazanExpress" – from November 13 to 27, 2023. 

 "The development of electronic commerce (e-commerce) is currently one of the priorities for both our republic and the country as a whole. Electronic platforms demonstrate accelerated growth rates and, along with traditional retail chains, have already become a familiar way for citizens to buy goods," said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.

Midhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the republic has been operating an e-commerce development program since 2019, which has shown good results, so it was decided to extend it until 2025. 

According to the results of the first half of 2023, the number of Tatarstan sellers selling their goods on marketplaces increased by 80% year-on-year and reached 53865. Their revenue for 2022 exceeded 50 billion rubles. And the total number of sellers on Russian marketplaces has already exceeded the bar of 1 million people. 

"The practice of the first four training marathons held in 2022 showed a very good result – about 2,000 people took part in them, of which about 70% started successful trading on marketplaces. There are examples when entrepreneurs who have completed training have already overcome the turnover limit of one million rubles per month," said Linara Burkhanova, Head of the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
