Midhat Shagiakhmetov spoke at the session on partner financing at the Financial Congress of the Bank of Russia
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy took part in the Financial Congress of the Bank of Russia at the session: "PARTNER FINANCING: NEW TOOLS FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT"
The Financial Congress of the Bank of Russia, which is one of the main events in the financial and economic sphere, started in St. Petersburg on July 6.
The Congress brought together representatives of the largest Russian banks and other financial sector companies, state authorities, and foreign national banks. The Congress is attended by more than 850 guests.
The second day of the Congress was opened by the session "Partner Financing: New tools for economic development", in which Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part as a speaker.
The session discussed the implementation of the partnership financing mechanism in Russia, taking into account the implementation of the experimental legal regime, as well as the prospects for its development to attract investment in the national economy.
"Today, the partner finance sector is actively developing in Tatarstan, organizations providing services in this area are working.
They provide an opportunity to obtain consumer and business financing, housing financing on installment terms, leasing in accordance with the requirements of Sharia and investments through investment contracts and mutual funds. Two banks offer a debit card that complies with the principles of partner finance." - M.R. Shagiakhmetov noted. In
addition, during the session, issues of equalizing the conditions of partnership and traditional finance were touched upon, prospects for the development of partner insurance instruments (Takaful), attracting investments using sukuk (Islamic bonds) and further development of this sector were discussed.
It should be noted that the business program of the Congress consists of 28 panel discussions with the participation of more than 100 speakers. It is planned to discuss issues of regulation in the financial sector, economic development in the new conditions of monetary policy and many other topics.
