Yesterday, at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, the results of the participation of the delegation of Tatarstan in the events of SPIEF-2023 were summed up. In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov paid attention to the support of export–oriented entrepreneurs.
He said that on the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a Forum of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises was held, the main topic of which was the development of international cooperation and export of SME products.
As it was noted at the forum, the main constraining factors for the development of this direction are difficulties in finding foreign partners to enter new markets and insufficient awareness of existing tools for export.
“Helping to find a foreign partner is also the task of exhibitions and business missions. This work is being carried out by the Russian Export Center, trade missions and regional Export Support centers,” the minister said.
Let us recall that the Export Support Center of Tatarstan accompanies entrepreneurs at all stages. Assists in the selection of countries where products can be exported. Prepares export contracts and conducts their examination. Translates presentation materials, including websites into foreign languages. Support measures for exporters are provided free of charge within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship".
Midhat Shagiakhmetov also noted the importance of the work of the media to bring information about the support measures implemented by export development institutions to potential exporters.
