Tatarstan chosen as platform validation of the new Procurement Law

August 23, 2013 at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference on the theme: "Public participation in procurement procedures for state and municipal needs under the federal law of the contract system" and open meeting "Legal basis and preconditions effectiveness of public participation in procurement procedures for state and municipal needs ". The event was attended by the head of the project Partnership "The National Association of Institutes of procurement," Michael Sheloumov and representatives of public organizations. The meeting discussed the general contract system innovations, the legal basis and limits of public participation in the planning and implementation of procurement practice public control when placing the order. Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Zdunov informed the participants about the participation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the pilot project on the testing mechanisms of the contract system and the first results of testing. Recall that from January 1, 2014 shall come into force on the Federal Law of 05.04.2013 № 44-FZ "On the contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services for state and municipal needs", which will replace the current in the field of federal law number 94-FZ.
