During the three fair days at the Kamala Theater, 210 self-employed and entrepreneurs from all over Tatarstan earned about 6 million rubles. They presented unique products of their own production at free equipped retail outlets provided as part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship".
The participants offered interior decorations, costume jewelry, farm products, clothes, sweets and much more to the guests and residents of Kazan.
Also at the fair, among the guests who passed the game "You are an entrepreneur", a cash prize of 100 thousand rubles was raffled, and on Sunday, among the self-employed who took part in educational programs from the My Business center, presenters, DJs and artists worked, creative teams and musicians from all over the republic performed.
Today there are over 260 thousand self-employed citizens in the republic alone. The region actively supports those who decide to make money on their hobby and legalize this income. This support is available at all stages of starting your own business — from teaching the basics of entrepreneurship to promoting and selling products. Most of the activities, services and facilities are free of charge and are implemented within the framework of the national SME project.
For example, fairs for the sale of products of the self-employed are organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center regularly, having started in 2020. In total, over 50 such events were held. In April of this year, a similar fair was held in the Mega shopping center, where the self-employed earned over 1 million rubles.
