The Republic of Tatarstan took the second place in the ranking of regions with the least pressure on business

According to the results of 2022, Tatarstan took 2nd place in the index of administrative pressure on business. Such data were made public at the All-Russian Conference of Commissioners for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs taking place in Moscow.

The results of the index will be included in the annual report of the Business Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Boris Titov to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the situation in small and medium-sized businesses in Russia.

Let us recall that by the end of 2021, the Republic of Tatarstan ranked 4th among the regions of Russia in the index of administrative pressure on business.

The methodology for calculating the index by region is based on three indicators of the activities of each of the eight covered control and supervision bodies - Rospotrebnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, Rostechnadzor, Rosselkhoznadzor, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rostransnadzor, Roszdravnadzor and Rostrud.

The following indicators are the share of organizations and individual entrepreneurs subjected to control and supervision from the total number of controlled entities (the less, the better); the share of warnings from the total number of punishments (the more, the better); the share of preventive measures in the total number of control, supervision and preventive measures (the more, the better). The total value of these parameters determines the place of the region in the general index.
