The fair of handicraft products of the self-employed "I am Tatarstan" opened in Kazan
More than 200 self-employed people will take part in the fair from the My Business Center, which takes place on the site near the Galiaskar Kamal Theater in two days. They will present unique products that cannot be bought in stores - from carpentry workshops to interior decorations and farm products. A special feature of the exhibition were products with a national flavor: jewelry, bags, clothes and sweets.
The opening of the fair was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov, he congratulated the business of the Republic on the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship, told about federal and republican support measures for the self-employed and entrepreneurs.
Presenters, DJs and artists will work all weekend at the Kamal Theater. They will hold contests, lotteries, quizzes for the guests of the holiday. Performances of creative collectives and musicians of the republic are also planned. In addition, educational sessions will be held.
So, from May 26 to May 28, an educational track will be held for the self-employed with a drawing of a certificate to an electronic equipment store. On May 27 at 18.00, the head of the CISS Center "My Business", business coach Mikhail Untura will speak on the topic "Self-employment as a lifestyle", business coach of the Center "My Business" Nina Mironova on May 28 at 18.00 will talk about 5 reasons to become a successful self-employed in Tatarstan. Currently, there are more than 260 thousand self-employed citizens in Tatarstan. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Center "My Business" within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized entrepreneurship" regularly holds fairs for the self-employed since 2020, in total more than 50 such events have been held.
