162 companies Tatarstan received the status of a social enterprise this year based on the results of a meeting of commissions in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. This will allow them to take advantage of the benefits and preferences available under the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship".

In particular, this year the organization of assistance to people with diabetes mellitus was recognized as a social enterprise. Its founder Timur Nikolaev created a community in the social network "Diary of a Diabetic", which unites more than 35 thousand participants. The company raises the problems of people with diabetes and looks for ways to solve them, and also creates an atmosphere of open dialogue on the exchange of knowledge and experience between doctors, patients, municipal authorities and business. The organization has received this status because it provides services for socially vulnerable categories of citizens.

"One of the advantages of social enterprises is the opportunity to receive a grant of up to 500 thousand rubles for the development of their project. However, in order to participate in the grant competition, you need to have time to get the status of a social enterprise before June 1," - the head of the CISS Center "My Business" Mikhail Untura.

In order to obtain the status of a social enterprise, the company must submit a package of documents to the My Business center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan. For more information, please call: (843)524-90-90
