The International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" has started in Kazan
Today in Kazan started The International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum". It will be held on May 18-20 at the Kazan Expo IEC. The event will be attended by representatives of 85 countries of the world and 84 regions of Russia.
Among the high-ranking guests are Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrey Belousov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov, governors, Patriarch Kirill, top officials of the OIC countries, President of the Brics International Forum Purnima Anand, representatives of the business community and the halal industry.
The largest business delegations will arrive from Turkey, Malaysia and Iran. As for our country, most people will come from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bashkortostan, Mordovia.
All KazanForum participants will be able to visit the Russia Halal Expo exhibition in the Agro-Industrial Park updated in accordance with the requirements of Islam. On May 19, a meeting of the strategic vision group "Russia - the Islamic World" is expected in the Kazan City Hall.
According to preliminary data, at least 100 agreements and contracts will be signed at KazanForum, including in the field of trade, logistics, education, youth policy, Halal certification and training of specialists in Islamic banking.
Guests will enjoy an extensive program of more than 200 events: strategic sessions, conferences, round tables and others.
In parallel with KazanForum, a forum of Tatar religious figures "National identity and religion" will be held. More than 1,000 clergymen from all over Russia will gather on May 21 at the solemn ceremony "Izge Bulgarians zhyeny".
