The initiative providing for the possibility of issuing regulations in the field of landscaping was supported

On April 20, 2023, within the framework of the meeting of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Local Self-Government held by the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin, issues of the personnel potential of the municipal service, the tasks of spatial development of municipalities, as well as the specifics of the work of local self-government bodies were discussed.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation D. Yu. Grigorenko supported the initiative of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government, which provides for the possibility of issuing regulations in the field of landscaping within the framework of the moratorium.

The reason for this initiative was that individual business representatives systematically do not comply with the rules, which affects the comfort of citizens' lives. We are talking about garbage dumps in front of buildings owned by businessmen, improper maintenance of facades, parking on lawns and others. Due to the imposed moratorium on inspections, there is no opportunity to encourage such entrepreneurs to comply with the rules and requirements. In this regard, it is proposed to allow inspectors to issue prescriptions in case of detection of such violations.

Also Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation D. Yu. Grigorenko proposed to introduce a legislative initiative that would allow in such cases to carry out a preventive visit with the possibility of issuing a prescription.
