Selection of participants of the Presidential training program for top managers has begun in Tatarstan

Acceptance of documents for participation in the competitive selection for training as part of the implementation of The State Plan for the training of managerial personnel for the organizations of the National Economy of the Russian Federation (Presidential program) in the Republic of Tatarstan will be held until May 10, 2023. For more than 20 years of the program's implementation, 2,600 managers (including 130 people from the healthcare sector) have been trained in the republic, 300 people have completed internships abroad.

Thanks to the Presidential training program for top managers, Russian enterprises have the opportunity to strengthen their competitive positions in the market and reduce the cost of retraining employees.

Thus, according to the results of the study, the implementation of projects of graduates of the Presidential Management Training Program allowed 60% of organizations to make a profit, and 40% to reduce costs. Such results were shown by a study of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The study involved more than 1.6 thousand respondents who were trained under the Presidential Program in the 2019-2022 academic years. In the course of training, the listener develops a project for the development of the organization that sent him or her own business idea. According to the study, almost every third specialist has fully implemented his initiative.

During the implementation of the project task, 28% of respondents were able to attract investments in their organization, including 13% — in the amount of more than 10 million rubles. A fifth of respondents (20%) noted that they managed to create new jobs. In just three years, about 3.2 thousand jobs were created during the implementation of the respondents' projects.

About 5% of the study participants estimated the profit received from the projects at more than 100 million rubles, 12% — in the range from 10 to 100 million rubles. For half of the survey participants, the project paid off in a period of one to two years. At the same time, 20% of respondents paid off the project in 3-6 months, another 20% — in a year.

As the main result of training, more than 30% of respondents indicated new professional knowledge; 25% of respondents noted that the program contributed to the development of new competencies; 41% of graduates established new business contacts.

The Presidential Management training program has been implemented in the country since 1998. To date, 62 regions of Russia take part in it. 2600 managers have been trained in Tatarstan. Within the framework of the program, senior and middle managers, as well as business owners are trained at leading Russian universities on the terms of co-financing from the state budget. Enrollment of students is based on the results of competitive selection within the framework of regional quotas.

The management training program provides:

• Professional retraining course in the specialty "Management" at the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University;
• Professional retraining course in the specialty "Management in Healthcare" at the Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;
• Internship at a foreign or Russian company corresponding to the professional and industry profile of the specialist.
• Improvement of foreign language skills.
