The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is restarting a project to develop entrepreneurship for women with children or on maternity leave.
"We are launching an updated project "Mom-entrepreneur". This unique program gets a fresh start. The educational component has been updated, modules on demanded competencies have appeared. The online support program will be developed. The format remains unchanged - it is a series of trainings and a grant for the implementation of their plans for the winner of each regional stage," explained Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova.
In the regions, the program will be held from May 1 to October 1 in the "My Business" centers operating within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
The partners and co-organizers of the competition were business support organizations - the SME Corporation, the Our Future Foundation, and the Union of Women of Russia.
This year, it is planned to train at least 1,500 participants across the country to conduct effective business.
The trainings will focus on the main aspects of project implementation: working with motivation, generating ideas and forming profitable hypotheses, a business plan, portraits of the target audience and its segmentation, marketing and others.
Based on the results of the work individually and in groups, the participants will form their projects and present them to experts.
The Mom-Entrepreneur program has been implemented in Russia for 10 years. During this time, about 7000 women took part in it, 247 people became winners of the competition. Within the framework of the program, 255 trainings were held, including on social entrepreneurship.
In Tatarstan, the program is implemented by the regional Center "My Business", which operates under the national project "Small and Medium-sized entrepreneurship".
