Last year Tatarstan small and medium-sized businesses received more than 83 billion rubles of support. Of these, 29.3 billion rubles were allocated to agricultural producers, 21.6 billion for investment purposes and more than 2 billion for employment support.

The support is provided thanks to the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative".

The Ministry noted that the support of SMEs has become one of the most important conditions for ensuring socio-economic stability in the face of sanctions. Therefore, in 2022, it was brought to a qualitatively different level and began to be provided in a digital format in one place – on the digital platform of the SME corporation.

It is expected that in 2023 this work will be continued, and the integration of financial services (microloans) will be completed on the platform. In addition, it is planned to pay serious attention to the expansion of sales markets and product sales channels, including the development of online commerce.

According to the Ministry of Economy, last year about 4.5 thousand Tatarstan entrepreneurs received more than 190 billion in revenue thanks to the resources of the RMC. The number of online sellers from the Republic of Tatarstan has exceeded 45 thousand, and their annual revenue is 50 billion rubles.

In addition, according to the results of 2022, there are more than 234.2 thousand self-employed in Tatarstan, whose declared income for this period amounted to 31.4 billion rubles.

"In 2023, Tatarstan will continue to support business. The My Business center provides preferential microloans and free non-financial services," the ministry concluded.
