Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District Council of the fourth convocation
On February 21, the 36th meeting of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the fourth convocation was held in Nizhnekamsk district, within the framework of which the results of socio-economic development for 2022 were considered and tasks for 2023 were defined. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov informed about the socio-economic indicators of the republic for 2022 and reported on the state of affairs in the economy of the district. Thus, in the rating of socio-economic development of municipalities of the republic for 2022, the district occupies the 5th place. According to the main economic indicators, Nizhnekamsk is in the leading positions. Enterprises of Nizhnekamsk district made a significant contribution to the economy of the republic. Nizhnekamsk district is 10% of GRP, 19% of the volume of shipped products and 15% of investments of the republic.
The industrial potential of the city of Nizhnekamsk is more than 20 industrial enterprises, of which the largest are PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (GC Sibur), JSC TAIF-NK, JSC TANECO, a group of companies LLC Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company, ensuring a stable economic situation in the city.
"In the conditions of the continuing high degree of uncertainty of geopolitical and economic conditions, in order to ensure socio-economic stability and economic development in 2023, enterprises and organizations and authorities need to respond to emerging challenges in a timely manner, take proactive measures, making maximum use of reserves to increase the efficiency of economic sectors and state support measures," the minister said, speaking at council meeting.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov noted in his speech that the heads of enterprises and the district need to build new cooperative chains with small businesses, use the potential of industrial sites and opportunities of preferential territories.
The Minister of Economy also focused on the development of the Nizhnekamsk TAD, whose residents are 20 companies implementing 20 new projects with an investment volume of 8.5 billion rubles. The task for 2023 is to ensure the launch of production within the stated deadlines in accordance with the plans. The Minister also noted the importance of the development of industrial parks, in particular the Nizhnekamsk industrial park.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov called the small and medium-sized business sector another platform in the development of economic potential. The Minister called for more active involvement of business in state support measures, including those implemented under the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", timely and fully communicate information about existing support measures to each business entity, post information about import-substituting products on the resources of the Republican Marketing Center.
Another important branch of the economy, according to the minister, is agriculture. In the industry rating of the agro-industrial complex at the end of the year, Nizhnekamsk district ranks 11th among the districts of the republic. The task for 2023 is to preserve the results achieved and continue working to improve efficiency in the field of development.
In addition, Midhat Shagiakhmetov outlined the need to continue the implementation of state programs and national projects. In 2023, the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan plans to overhaul 15 km of roads, five schools, two cultural facilities, overhaul and construction of five medical facilities and the creation of three public spaces.
