Tatarstan innovators can receive a grant of 4 million rubles under the national project

Innovation Promotion Fund announced the start of accepting applications for the Start-SOPR competition within the framework of the Start program, which is held under the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship and support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative".

The competition provides for the selection of projects in the following thematic areas (lots):

• sports (sports technology, equipment and inventory, medical and biological support);

• urban environment (smart city technologies);

• ecology (ecotechnologies and rational use of natural resources); social entrepreneurship.

Priority will be given to applicants who have used (are using, are planning to use) infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses on the basis of "My Business" centers (engineering centers; cluster development centers; technology parks, business incubators, etc.) for the following purposes: preparation of an application for a competition; project implementation under a grant agreement; further commercialization or development of the project product; post-project monitoring of the practical implementation of the product.

Individuals and legal entities classified as small business entities in accordance with Federal Law No. 209-FZ of 24.07.2007 "On the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses in the Russian Federation" can participate in the Start-SOPR competition of the Innovation Promotion Fund.

The grant amount is up to 4 million rubles. The term of R&D is 12 months (in 2 stages) from the date of conclusion of the grant agreement.

According to the results of the grant agreement, the grantee must create intellectual property, the rights to which must be issued to the recipient company of the grant.

The purpose of the competition is to create new and support small innovative enterprises that are at the initial stage of development and are striving to develop and master the production of new products, technologies or services using the results of their own scientific and technical research that have significant potential for commercialization.
