330 schoolchildren from 29 schools of Tatarstan take part in the championship of business cases on the national SME project

Tatarstan schoolchildren take part in the Business case championship. The championship is the next stage of the republican project "School Business Start", which continues its work. The first round of the championship was held online for 330 children from 29 schools of the Republic of Tatarstan – participants of 33 school companies. 12 of them will be held in the intramural stage of the championship – it will be held on February 28.

Now the participants of the first round of the championship are working on tasks that they received at a videoconference from Tatarstan entrepreneurs. The guys will have to complete tasks: for example, create a strategy for promoting a women's clothing store, figure out how to attract visitors to a restaurant in the "slow hours" between lunch time and dinner time; suggest how to organize tailoring so that, with the same number of staff, double the production rate. 

There are other interesting tasks: to help the recruitment agency determine the target audience of the educational course on profiling – the technique of evaluating candidates by their facial expressions, appearance, gesture and emotions; to offer new options for souvenirs that could become popular among the guests of Tatarstan. Students should submit their proposals, which should include creative ideas that expand the general point of view on the problems, by February 13. Those who will offer the most effective solutions will go to the next (full-time) stage of the championship.

"The championship is attended by the most interested and talented schoolchildren who showed remarkable results at the previous stages of the "School Business Start" and already, in fact, have experience in entrepreneurship. At the Business case Championship, they learn to solve real problems faced by business, to model specific ways to solve them. I am sure that the guys will offer fresh ideas and their solutions will benefit our entrepreneurs," says Elena Tikhonova, head of the School Business Start project.

Let us recall that the final meeting of school business companies is scheduled for April 2023. 12 teams will take part in it. All of them will get a unique experience, and the three best two teams will go to Skolkovo. 

The School Business Start program was launched in September 2022 and covered 12 thousand Tatarstan children. The organizers are the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan. The program is implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative".
