Tatarstan company produces warm balaclavas for SMO participants
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan provides support to entrepreneurs at different stages of business development under the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support of individual entrepreneurial initiative". Thus, the Tatarstan company, which has repeatedly received financial and comprehensive non-financial support, in 2022 was one of the first in Tatarstan to launch warm balaclavas for special operation participants. They made about 500 balaclavas and sent them to the front. When reaching the design capacity, the company can produce up to 200 thousand products per month.
The company LLC "Simple" is engaged in the production of a wide range of products – from polypropylene pipes to hats and gloves. The company is located on the squares of the Nizhnekamsk Industrial Park, where the company has created 35 jobs. Another plant was opened in Dagestan, where 15 jobs were created. Last year, despite the difficult conditions, the company has established the production of insulation "Kalkan", which competes with the federal networks "Technonicol" and "Penoplex".
According to the director of the company, Ildar Gilemkhanov, at first his company was treated skeptically, but now the perception of competitors has changed. There is a demand for the product. Everything produced is quickly realized. Insulation is used in the construction of houses, protects buildings from heat, cold and moisture. The products are sold in many cities of Russia. Recently, a batch of insulation was sent to Lisichansk.
"The equipment and components were purchased in China, we bring some of the necessary raw materials from Iran, which itself is under sanctions, so we work without problems. The main volume is purchased from Sibur, located in Nizhnekamsk. At first, of course, there was a lack of insight into what to do. When the exchange rate began to rise, there was panic. But closer to the summer, everything returned to normal. It's even good that we have sanctions. We will finally start developing everything at home. We will become independent as in the USSR. We can produce some basic stuff at home," Ildar Gilemkhanov said.
According to the national project, the company participated in the international exhibition, now supplies its products to the market of Kazakhstan.

"In 2023, we will continue to provide non-financial support measures and services – financing certification and product promotion, access to marketplaces, participation in exhibitions and fairs in the Russian Federation, as well as providing free access to reporting and document management services and much more," shared Linara Burkhanova, First Deputy General Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan – head of the Center "My business".
