A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia paid a business visit to the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan
The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia Kristina Ozgan visited the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the business meeting, issues of mutual cooperation, the development of foreign economic activity, and the establishment of business ties between the enterprises of the Republics were discussed.
The meeting was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov. He spoke about the economic potential and attractiveness of the region for investors, support measures, the development of preferential territories and benefits for residents operating on them, as well as how work is organized to monitor the economic activities of enterprises and the sustainable development of the economy of Tatarstan in the current conditions.
Also, Director General of the Agency for State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan Yakov Geller said that in order to replace previously purchased imported products, a special Catalog of offers of similar products supplied by Russian, including Tatarstan manufacturers and suppliers has been created on the basis of the Republican Marketing Center. The unique republican resource contains proposals for manufacturers, small and medium-sized businesses, allowing them to master the production of demanded products.
During the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Competition Emil Khismatov and Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Salikhov Aidar shared the experience of the republic in the implementation of programs, tools and services for SMEs.
The parties agreed on further cooperation and exchange of experience and solutions aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, developing the investment attractiveness of regions and business support institutions.
