A digital profile of an entrepreneur has appeared in Russia to simplify access to state support measures

Small and medium-sized businesses have simplified access to government support measures and have been provided with a proactive selection of regional and federal programs and services. This became possible due to the development of a unique product - a digital entrepreneur profile, which contains 800 data. The digital profile was formed by the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Tax Service, the SME Corporation and the Bank of Russia.

Thanks to the implementation of the project initiated by the SME Corporation, the process of obtaining support measures available on the SME.RF Digital Platform, primarily financial ones, will be significantly simplified for entrepreneurs. For example, this will allow you to exclude more than 50 fields from the application form for a loan. Businesses will also not have to attach about 10 documents, and the time to create an application will be reduced from one day to 15 minutes. The verification of the application by the bank will also be simplified, since the data will be obtained from reliable state sources.

It will become easier to apply for other financial support measures that require a large amount of information, in particular, government microloans, grants and regional subsidies.

The launch of the digital profile will enable the Digital Platform to select and offer the entrepreneur the support measures that are suitable for his business. Users will be able to feel the first effect of its work in the coming months.

“The government experiment on data exchange between ministries and departments will help simplify the provision of support measures for businesses on the SME.RF platform. This is part of the Government’s systematic work to digitalize interaction between the state and entrepreneurs,” said Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The digital profile already reflects information from the registers of individual entrepreneurs, legal entities, SMEs, as well as data on the availability of accounts, debts to the state, tax returns, financial statements and information from Gosuslug.

In order to fill out a profile, an entrepreneur must give his consent in his personal account on the SME.RF Digital Platform, and all the necessary information will automatically come from government agencies. They will then be included in applications for support measures, as well as used in suggesting the most suitable products to users.

“The digital profile will allow businesses to reduce the time it takes to find the necessary information about support measures, and the state to proactively offer entrepreneurs the measures that suit him specifically. This will eliminate the need to look for them, select, compare conditions with the parameters of your business. All this will be taken over by the Digital Platform. The profile will have 18 different sets of information. Half of them are already available, the remaining data will appear in early 2023,” said Alexander Isaevich, General Director of the SME Corporation.

The SSP.RF digital platform is a state platform for supporting entrepreneurs and those who plan to start their own business. The platform was developed by the SME Corporation together with the Ministry of Economic Development with the participation of the entrepreneurs themselves to provide access to the necessary services and support measures in one place. It is being developed in accordance with the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises", which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
