An off-site meeting of the working group on attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Nizhnekamsk

Nizhnekamsk hosted an off-site meeting of the working group on attracting federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed by Oleg Morozov, Chairman of the RF State Duma Control Committee. The meeting was also attended by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Aidar Metshin, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Galeev, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Yulai Minnullin and others.

As part of the visit, the members of the working group visited the territory of the Nizhnekamsk industrial park, where they got acquainted with the work of resident companies ZMK Bakelit LLC, Vostok Volga Steel LLC, Simple LLC and Piton LLC and listened to development plans.

During the meeting, it was noted that Nizhnekamsk actively cooperated with the Fund for the Development of Monotowns, now with VEB.RF, to attract federal funds for the development of infrastructure for industrial parks. Residents spoke about the benefits of doing business in the advanced development area (TOR), republican support measures, programs of the Republican Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

After inspecting the enterprises, a meeting was held in the building of the Nizhnekamsk Executive Committee, during which they discussed:

- functioning of the ASEZ of the Nizhnekamsk region to attract significant investments and prospects for the development of the direction for 2023;

- preliminary results of the implementation in Tatarstan of the national project "Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives";

- creation of machine-building technical schools in Nizhnekamsk for the purpose of training and attracting qualified personnel to the enterprises of residents of the ASEZ;

- a comprehensive creation of a system for stimulating wages, motivation, working conditions for employees of enterprises of residents of the ASEZ.
