Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov met with the head of the Republic of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg. Tatarstan shared its experience in developing small and medium-sized businesses, preferential territories of the republic, investment activities, the implementation of government programs, as well as the capabilities of the Import Substitution Center.
Opening the meeting, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov spoke about the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan in the current conditions, the economic potential of the republic, the formation of an investment climate, the development of special economic zones, areas of advanced socio-economic development, industrial and industrial parks, benefits for residents, socio-economic monitoring of enterprises .
“In addition to the fact that we have special economic zones and ASEZs, almost every region of the republic has municipal industrial parks that create conditions for business development and new jobs. The products manufactured by residents make up about 10% of the total industrial production of the Republic of Tatarstan, which makes a significant contribution to the economy of the republic,” said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
The minister spoke in detail about the support measures taken at the federal and republican levels, the implementation of national projects, touched upon the formation of an investment rating, Islamic financing.
Also at the meeting, they presented the "Center for Import Substitution", created in Tatarstan on the basis of the Agency for the State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan. Yakov Geller, General Director of the Automotive Gas Plant of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the possibilities of the republican information system, where manufacturers place offers on their products, and buyers purchase the necessary goods, including replacing imports. In addition to the republic, 6 Russian regions have already joined the work of the Center.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of the regions noted the need to exchange best practices, and also discussed further plans for cooperation.
Further, within the framework of the working program, the head of the Republic of Tuva met with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, where the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the republics took place.
