Tatarstan eased restrictions for small and medium-sized businesses when they receive support measures

Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 81-ZRT was adopted on November 2, 2022. The amendments introduced provide for the easing of restrictions for SMEs in the provision of support provided by public authorities, the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, its subsidiaries, as well as infrastructure organizations to support small and medium-sized businesses.

For entrepreneurs who have committed minor violations, the period during which support must be denied has been reduced from three years to one year.

At the same time, support measures in relation to small and medium-sized businesses that have eliminated violations within the period established by the authority that provided the support measures are not limited.

The three-year period during which a small or medium-sized business entity must be denied support is retained only if such an entity misuses the means of support or provides false information and documents.
