The national project will help the Tatarstan finalists of the Student Startup program to successfully implement projects and master grants

On November 14, the My Business Center will start training for the finalists of the Student Startup program, who received financial support from the state in the amount of 1 million rubles for the implementation of their innovative projects. The training will help young developers get a professional assessment of startups, as well as recommendations and practical skills for further development and successful implementation of student projects. The event will be held as part of the SME national project.

Recall that the Student Startup program allows students to prepare and defend their final qualification work in the form of a presentation of their own startup. In the future, successful cases can be introduced into the real sector of the economy. In the Republic of Tatarstan, 130 students received funding in the amount of 1 million rubles from the Innovation Promotion Fund as start-up capital for launching technology projects.

The first stage of training will be online testing, which will determine the level of business literacy and reveal the entrepreneurial abilities of participants. Based on the test results and the direction of the project, meetings will be organized with specialized experts within the framework of mentor rooms to consider specific life situations, problems that a future entrepreneur may encounter and algorithms for solving them.

The online course will prepare graduates for entrepreneurship, provide additional professional competencies in project management and leadership. With experienced mentors, participants will improve their soft skills, understand what a personal brand, storytelling and pitching are and how to apply all this for the effective use of grant funds. Another topic of the course will be the registration of a business, the definition of distribution channels and the target audience portrait.

The program is being implemented thanks to the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". The organizers are the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Center "My Business" NO MCC "Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan".
