In the SEZ "Alabuga" launched a plant for the production of products for conveyor equipment
On October 27, the solemn opening of the Akonit-Alabuga plant took place on the territory of the SEZ "Alabuga". The company will manufacture products for conveyor equipment with a capacity of 4.8 thousand tons of parts per year. The volume of investments in the project amounted to 2 billion rubles. At the moment, 122 jobs have been created.
JSC NPO Akonit is one of the leaders in the Russian market, a supplier of modern technological solutions in the field of bulk cargo handling. It specializes in the production of conveyor systems and components for them. Recall that the company launched its first project on the territory of Alabuga for the production of rollers for Akonit-Ural conveyors at the Synergy Industrial Park in 2020. Localization in ready-made production facilities built by Alabuga made it possible to quickly establish and launch the work of the enterprise.
The production capacity of the new plant is designed to produce 400 tons of steel structures per month, as well as rollers with a capacity of up to 1 million pieces. in year. Thus, the terms and cost of production of components for conveyors are optimized.
"Imports to Russia amount to 22 trillion rubles - therefore, it is important to create new import-substituting projects, support domestic producers through tax preferences, co-financing programs and the provision of ready-made production facilities for a quick launch of production," the Alabuga SEZ emphasizes.
The main customers are enterprises of the mining industry, enterprises producing mineral fertilizers, extracting coal, non-ferrous metals.
SEZ "Alabuga" today is the most efficient special economic zone in the territory of the Russian Federation. The total volume of private investment is 158.5 billion rubles, more than 10,000 jobs have been created, and residents’ revenue for 2021 amounted to 136 billion rubles. More than 30 unique import-substituting industries, which are leaders in their industries, are located on the territory of the SEZ.
