In Tatarstan, 6.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the Demography national project in 2022

In 2022, Tatarstan will provide 6.5 billion rubles for the implementation of the Demography national project. Most of the funding - 6.2 billion rubles - is aimed at supporting families with children. As the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan clarifies, for certain categories of families raising children, monthly and lump-sum payments are provided.

The Ministry of Economy recalled that federal and republican measures of state support for families with children are being implemented in the republic.

Federal measures of state support:

1. Maternity capital. For 9 months of 2022, 19,546 certificates were issued. Since February 1, 2022, maternity capital has been indexed by the actual inflation rate by 8.4% and the payment upon the appearance of the first child in the family is 524.5 thousand rubles.

2. Monthly payment in connection with the birth (adoption) of the first child. This year, more than 32 thousand people received payments in the amount of 11.5 thousand rubles.

3. Couples with a medical certificate can use in vitro fertilization (IVF) technologies free of charge, under the CHI policy. For 9 months of 2022, 1270 procedures were performed. In total, in 2022, there is a limit for 1,650 free procedures.

Republican support measures for families with children:

1. 144,508 people received compensation for a part of the parental fee for childcare and care in kindergartens.

2. A one-time payment at the birth of the first, third child was received by 1452 women permanently residing in rural areas.

3. Benefits were paid to seven families raising three or more children born at the same time.

4. A one-time reward was received by 11 families awarded with the medal "Ana Dana - Maternal Glory" and the Order of Parental Glory.

The department also reported that in the period from 2019 to 2022, thanks to the funding received for the implementation of the Demography national project, 58 kindergartens were built in Tatarstan, in which 11,990 places were created (of which 5,745 nursery places). This year, according to the national project in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan, the construction of a kindergarten for 220 children has begun.

In less than four years of the project implementation, 31 sports facilities have been built and repaired in the republic. The largest of them are an ice palace and an indoor swimming pool in Naberezhnye Chelny, a universal gym in the village of Vasilyevo in the Zelenodolsk district, a football training arena in Nizhnekamsk, a gym in Kukmor, an open-type sports and recreation complex and athletics treadmills at the Tasma stadium in Kazan .

According to the Ministry of Economy, the construction of an indoor ice rink with artificial ice is being completed in the Alekseevsky district. The opening is scheduled for the end of this year.

Every year, new sports equipment, inventory and equipment for athletes are purchased for sports institutions of the republic.

Since the beginning of the implementation of the Demography national project, 14 gyms in rural schools have been repaired in the republic and 37 TRP sites have been created in municipal districts.

As part of the implementation of the Demography national project, 63 geriatric rooms have been created in medical organizations of the republic. By the end of 2022, it is planned to open an additional 16 offices of a geriatrician. It is noted that the services of geriatricians are in great demand. So, for 9 months of this year, the number of calls to these specialists amounted to more than 22 thousand.

National projects are being implemented on behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The main objectives of the national project "Demography" are: improving the welfare of families, primarily families with children; an increase in the birth rate, a decrease in the death rate of the population; increase in active longevity and healthy life expectancy.
