On October 20, a round table was held in Kazan for beginners and existing exporters on the topic: "International logistics: current issues." The participants studied the logistics market for export transportation in the Russian Federation.
The speaker was Liliya Arakelova, trainer and expert on international economic cooperation. She spoke about the immediate prospects for the development of the Russian logistics market for export transportation in 2022. And also about export sales methods, fulfillment drivers, new logistics corridors in the context of geopolitical issues, and so on.
Alexander Lindval, representative of the Association of International Road Carriers (ASMAP) in Kazan, spoke on the topic “Peculiarities of international road transport”. Alexander Vladimirovich touched upon the history of the creation of ASMAP, said that the Association today unites 1,400 companies engaged in the transportation of goods and passengers in international road traffic. He also revealed the functions of ASMAP and the main changes that took place after September 29, 2022, after the signing of the President of the Russian Federation Decree No. 681, which provides for the introduction of retaliatory measures against EU sanctions in the field of international road transport. In addition, the speaker advised the round table participants who are engaged in exports to use the services of professional carriers if delivery involves the use of road transport.
Andrey Semivolkov, the founder of the Seven Hundred Roads transport company in Naberezhnye Chelny, shared his experience in international logistics. He spoke about the intricacies of international transportation to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, China and Tajikistan, about the features of road transportation at different times of the year, and so on. Andrey Sergeevich advised the participants of the event to work on a prepaid basis with partners with whom contacts have not yet been established.
The moderator was Sergey Sotnikov, Chairman of the Transport Committee at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, an individual entrepreneur. The guests of the round table, together with experts, exchanged experience, discussed problems and topical issues.
