1000 residents registered in the country's special economic zones

At the same time, the share of Tatarstan, on the territory of which two special economic zones "Innopolis" and "Alabuga" are located, accounts for about 20% of all residents registered in the SEZ of the country - 179 companies.

The 1,000th resident has been registered for the first time in 45 special economic zones (SEZs) from 18 regions of Russia. According to the agreements concluded, this means more than 120,000 jobs for the Russian economy. To date, 56 thousand new jobs have already been created, 780 billion rubles of investments have been attracted. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Vakhrukov.

The Republic of Tatarstan successfully operates two special economic zones "Innopolis" and "Alabuga", which have been repeatedly noted as leaders in the rating of investment attractiveness of the SEZ of Russia.

The development of the SEZ "Alabuga" continues, where 57 residents are located, of which 33 enterprises are engaged in industrial and production activities. At the beginning of Q3 In 2022, the actual investments of residents amounted to 159 billion rubles, the volume of revenue was 780 billion rubles, they created about 9 thousand jobs.

To date, 324 companies have been attracted to the Innopolis SEZ, of which 122 are residents. According to the results of the 1st half of 2022, the actual volume of investments on an accrual basis amounted to 67 billion rubles, the amount of revenue (on an accrual basis) - 122 billion rubles, the number of places created exceeded 12.5 thousand.

Residents of the country's SEZ are exempt from paying property and land taxes. The income tax rate to the federal budget is 2%, and to the regional budget is set in the range from 0% to 13.5% by decision of the region.

Dmitry Vakhrukov noted that the State Duma in the first reading supported a bill to simplify obtaining resident status. The adoption of the bill will improve the SEZ administration system and expand the rights of their residents. The bill proposes to replace the business plan with an investment project passport when applying for residency. “Such “flexibility” of the mechanism will make it possible to make a decision on an investor in 15 days instead of the current 40.

It should be noted that in Russia 45 SEZs are located on the territory of 8 federal districts. The leaders in creating SEZs are the Central Federal District (16 out of 45), the Volga Federal District (9 out of 45) and the North Caucasus Federal District (7 out of 45). The Central Federal District accounts for half of all investments and jobs created. For a long time and successfully functioning: Lipetsk, Technopolis "Moscow", Dubna, Stupino Square, Kaluga. In the Volga Federal District, one of the largest SEZs is Alabuga and Innopolis in the Republic of Tatarstan.
