The countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia are becoming popular destinations for exporters of Tatarstan

This year, in general, in Russia, given the situation, there is a reorientation to new markets, including the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This trend is generally true for the enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Albina Gergert, head of the Export Support Center of the Fund for Entrepreneurship Support subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about export development trends in the current realities.

Tatarstan entrepreneurs have previously worked with partners in the Middle East, they know the peculiarities of the Middle East markets quite well, they have experience in certification of halal products and understand the specifics of negotiating. Of great interest to the Tatarstan business is also the direction of China, which represents a huge market for product promotion.

The Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, provides services necessary for enterprises both at the time the idea of ​​working for export appears, and related to the direct shipment of goods to foreign markets. At the same time, the bulk of the services are free for business, some of them provide for significant co-financing of costs from the state.

Available for free:
- training in certain aspects of export at seminars, webinars, round tables, as well as within the framework of acceleration programs;
- search for a foreign buyer;
- support of an export contract (preparation of a draft contract or expert examination of a project by a counterparty);
- promotion of products on international electronic trading platforms (registration, technical support, promotion);
- organizing participation in international exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

The following support measures are provided on the terms of co-financing:
- co-financing of 80% of the cost of an international certificate for products, the maximum amount of support is 1 million rubles;
- co-financing of 70% of the cost of registering rights to the results of intellectual activity, the maximum amount of support is 1 million rubles;
- co-financing of 80% of the cost of marketing / patent research, but not more than 300 thousand rubles;
- co-financing of 80% for the delivery of products for export to the borders of the Russian Federation, but not more than 500 thousand rubles per enterprise.

Today, there are a number of opportunities to completely eliminate or significantly reduce the costs of entrepreneurs through their involvement in support measures.
