During the year, fairs of products and services for the self-employed were held throughout the republic, organized by the My Business Center and the Ministry of Economy of the region as part of the implementation of the national SME project. Specialized fairs allowed self-employed citizens to earn 16 million rubles.
The fairs have become an opportunity for more than 800 self-employed residents of the republic not only to talk about their products, but also to find new customers and like-minded people. Trade places were provided for them free of charge, where they were able to present and sell products - wood, leather, chinaware, designer jewelry, farm products, toys, home decor items, as well as services - legal, printing, educational and others.
In addition, a Russian record was set in the region for the longest self-employed trade counter - 245.5 meters. The record was recorded on Republic Day at a large-scale fair with the participation of more than 300 artisans from all over Tatarstan. At the same time, their revenue also reached record values for fairs and exceeded 4 million rubles.
Fairs to promote the products of the self-employed of the republic are held by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support and the My Business Center for the 4th year in a row. The next fair will take place on September 17-18. Participants will also be provided with free equipped trading places on the square near the Academy of Sciences.
It should be noted that Tatarstan was identified as one of the four pilot regions, where in 2019 a special tax regime was introduced as an experiment - "Tax on professional income". Since the beginning of the special tax regime, self-employed republics have issued more than 40 million checks with an average amount of about 1.5 thousand rubles. Their total income exceeded 60 billion rubles.
