Free business course for women starts in Tatarstan

At the end of May, a free training program for residents of the republic from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will start in 3 cities of Tatarstan, where everyone can realize their idea and start their own business under the guidance of experienced mentors in just 7 weeks.

Within 7 weeks, participants will take 9 classes online and offline. The training will be conducted by leading practitioners and entrepreneurs of the republic, and experienced business owners will act as mentors.

As part of the program, participants will develop a step-by-step plan for starting a business, study legal aspects and the basics of financial literacy, learn effective sales, calculate an economic business model, and work with personnel.

In addition to educational sessions, the participants will be given a business tour to a garment factory, where future entrepreneurs will be able to learn in practice the features of one of the most attractive business areas for women - creating their own clothing brand. The program also includes business breakfasts in the format of an open dialogue.

Upon completion of the training, graduates will receive state-recognised diplomas on the completion of the program on the basics of entrepreneurship and the opportunity to defend the best projects at the final event in front of an expert commission.

It should be noted that last year the program showed a high demand among residents of Tatarstan - in 2021, 600 applications were received for participation in the program, 150 of them successfully completed their studies, 20 created new business projects. One of the finalists of the project, Elvina Fonakova, founded the production of sugar-free chocolate, dairy products and gluten "Premium" and increased her income from 3,000 to 170,000 rubles.

The program is implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative" by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
