Entrepreneurs of Tatarstan received preferential financial support for half a billion rubles

Since the beginning of 2022, the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, has provided financial support to businesses in the amount of about half a billion rubles.

Now the fund's portfolio includes 7 microfinance products that were launched as a response to sanctions measures and are designed for the widest possible range of recipients. The focus of concessional financing is social entrepreneurs, exporters, the self-employed, residents of industrial parks, manufacturing enterprises and other areas of activity.

When developing the conditions for microloans, the Ministry of Economy took into account the wishes of the entrepreneurs themselves and expert business communities, based on feedback, the interest rates of microfinance products are practically equal to the value of the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia that was in effect before its last increase (02/28/2022), and range from 0, 1% to 13.5%.

Preferential microfinance allows small companies, micro businesses and even start-ups to receive up to 5 million rubles at a reduced rate for a period of no more than three years. Support is provided within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Business and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".

If we talk about the demand for the products themselves, now the largest number of applications from businesses comes under the Assistance program, designed for all SMEs, regardless of the profile of activity and the purpose of attracting debt financing. Also, a large volume of applications comes from self-employed citizens of the republic, for them the conditions of a microloan provide for a preferential rate of 5.5% per annum.

The conditions of some microfinance products imply the presence of collateral, for those entrepreneurs who do not have their own collateral for obtaining a microloan, support is provided by the Guarantee Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The preferential guarantee product "Support - 2022" is also included in the republican package of measures and implies the zeroing of the commission fee in the first 6 months and an increased guarantee amount to 70 million rubles with a reduced remuneration rate from 1% to 0.5%, charged only after 6 months .
