The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the implementation of the plan for sustainable development of the economy of the republic
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a regular meeting of the working group to ensure sustainable development of the economy of the republic.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin, deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan of the sixth convocation Marat Galeev, representatives of the Association of Enterprises and Industrialists of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatneftekhiminvest-holding JSC and sectoral ministries.
Before moving on to the agenda, the minister said that a meeting was held at the federal level chaired by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov, where the tasks of developing the country's economy were announced.
“Under the current conditions in the whole country, the tasks are to ensure the smooth operation of backbone organizations, the adaptation of small and medium-sized businesses to high rates, the provision of working capital and liquidity in the real sector of the economy and the stability of the labor market, as well as addressing issues of import substitution and arranging logistics corridors, ensuring taking into account the high inflation of social support for the population and ensuring the implementation of seasonal work - the beginning of the construction season, sowing, tourist season,” said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
At the meeting, the results of the current week and the tasks for the coming days were discussed as part of a meeting of the working group dedicated to sectoral problems to ensure further sustainable economic development and response measures to them.
Within the framework of the meeting of the working group, the consideration of sectoral issues in the context of the following areas was continued:
- monitoring and control of prices and the availability of basic socially significant goods in trade organizations;
- work with backbone organizations;
- implementation of investment projects;
- the situation on the labor market;
- import substitution.
The closing remarks were made by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin, who outlined the importance of the Import Substitution Center created in Tatarstan under the sanctions.
“The leadership of Tatarstan has always been distinguished by initiative and determination. In the light of recent events, thanks to the Import Substitution Center, the republic has the opportunity to help businesses optimize the work of large enterprises in the region, to help small and medium-sized businesses adapt to modern realities without losing quality and without reducing the volume of products,” Maxim Topilin believes.
Recall that in order to mitigate the consequences of sanctions pressure in Tatarstan, the Import Substitution Center was created on the basis of the Republican Marketing Center. During the 10 days of the Center's work in the procurement module of the RMC, contracts were concluded for the purchase of import-substituting products in the amount of 93 million rubles.
