This year, residents of PSEDA Tatarstan have created more than 7 thousand new jobs

In 2016, 5 territories of socio-economic development were created in Tatarstan to diversify the economy of single-industry towns, attract investment and improve the quality of life of citizens. In total, according to the results of 9 months of this year, residents of the republic's PSEDA created more than 7 thousand new jobs.

Over 5 years of work, 118 residents implementing investment projects at PSEDA Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Chistopol, Zelenodolsk and Mendeleevsk have created almost 17.5 thousand new jobs. According to the results of 9 months of the current year, residents have created more than 7.1 thousand new jobs, the main share of which falls on the "Zelenodolsk" PSEDA - about 6.3 thousand jobs.

Competitive conditions for doing business have been created at PSEDA, tax benefits and preferences are provided for residents: a reduced income tax rate (5% - during the first 5 tax periods from the moment of receipt of the first profit from the activity, and 12% - 13% - during the next 5 tax periods), exemption from corporate property tax, exemption from land tax and reduced rates of insurance premiums in the amount of 7.6% instead of 30%, paid in the usual manner (including to the Pension Fund – 6% instead of 22%, to the Social Insurance Fund – 1.5% instead of 2.9% and to the Fund compulsory medical insurance – 0.1% instead of 5.1%).

The benefit is extended within 10 years from the date of obtaining the status of a resident of the PSEDA and is applied to residents who have received such status no later than within 3 years from the date of creation of the PSEDA.
