Nuriev Festival and other events in Tatarstan are held within the framework of "Culture" national project

From May 13 to June 2 in Kazan credit for "Creative people" regional project of "Culture"  national project, International Festival of Classical Ballet named after Rudolf Nuriyev is taking place on the stage of Musa  Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater, within the framework of which 8 performances will be shown, 2 gala concerts will be held with the participation of Russian ballet stars, including St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theater.  

In February 2021, within the framework of "Creative People" regional project  International Festival named after F. I. Chaliapin took place in Tatarstan.  From 7 to 13 June The Tatar State Academic Theater named after Galiaskar Kamal is scheduled to host the International Theater Festival of the Turkic Peoples – "Nauruz". Various exhibitions and competitions are also planned.

This year, 319 million rubles will be allocated to the "Culture" national project in Tatarstan. Within the framework of the national project, 3 regional projects are being implemented, namely "Cultural Environment", for which it is planned to allocate 286.0 million rubles, "Creative people" – 28.1 million rubles, "Digital Culture" – 4.8 million rubles. 

Within the framework of "Cultural Environment" regional project, it is planned to build two cultural development centers in Yelabuga and Zelenodolsk, three rural cultural centers in the Menzelinsky and Kukmor municipal districts; major repairs of two art schools in the city Kazan has also started.

Within the framework of the national project, state support will also be provided to the best municipal cultural institutions and the best employees of institutions, amateur groups will receive grants from the state. 

Within the framework of "Digital Culture" regional project, book publications will be digitized, virtual concert halls will be created in Naberezhnye Chelny and Almetyevsk.
