The Entrepreneurship Support Fund issued the first microloan under the “Self-Employed” program

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan issued the first microloan under the “Self-employed” program. The issuance of microloans at a reduced rate to Tatarstan self-employed became available thanks to a microfinance product developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at supporting payers of the Professional Income Tax.

The first loan at a preferential rate of 6% per annum was issued by a self-employed person from the Aktanyshskiy region. The businessman has been registered as a self-employed since February 2019. He is engaged in production of light signs of any complexity, large-format and interior printing, the manufacture of souvenirs. The received microloan will be used to replenish working capital, purchase new equipment and components for it. The loan amount was 200 thousand rubles for a period of 24 months. In addition, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan provided the borrower with a guarantee in the amount of 50% of the microloan amount.

Let us recall that the “Self-employed” microloan was developed for individuals who are not individual entrepreneurs and who apply a special tax regime - “Professional income tax”. In this case, the borrower must be registered in the status of self-employed for at least 6 months and choose Tatarstan as the territory for doing business, the borrower's age at the time of repayment of the loan must not exceed 65 years.

For citizens who meet the requirements of the program, up to 500 thousand rubles are available at 6% per annum for a period of 3 to 24 months for any costs justified by the borrowers necessary to carry out activities, the income from which is subject to “Professional Income Tax”. In addition, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan provides a guarantee in the amount of up to 50% of the microloan amount.

Applications for microloans are accepted by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. An application can also be submitted through the MFC for Business or regional representatives of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, represented in almost all municipalities of the republic.
