New components of the Ctrl@Traffic product will be mainly developed by RailNext specialists in the Innopolis SEZ in cooperation with partner companies. The development, testing and operation of the system is planned to be completed by December 31, 2022. The unmanned metro system will be able to operate at a maximum train speed of up to 90 km/h and a total number of rolling stock up to 40 pairs per hour. In the future, in addition to Kazan, the unmanned movement system can be implemented in the metro of other cities where the rolling stock of Transmashholding is operated.

As an interval regulation and signaling system, Ctrl@Traffic uses the existing automatic locomotive signaling system with automatic speed regulation (ALS-ARS), however, in the future, it is planned to integrate into Ctrl@Traffic the functions of interval regulation of train traffic via the radio channel (CBTC functions).

Ctrl@Traffic will be able to provide levels of train management automation on the GoA3 line (automatic train control without a driver, but with an observer) or GoA4 (fully automatic train control without participation of any personnel on the train), as well as meeting the required indicators for implementation of the planned traffic schedule trains due to high quality control with monitoring of movement parameters.
