A single contact center for business and future entrepreneurs support has been launched in Tatarstan

At a press conference today, Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department, spoke about the launch of a Single contact Center to support businesses and citizens interested in starting an entrepreneurial activity.

The briefing highlighted key achievements in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by the end of 2024. In particular, the total number of people employed in the small business sector has reached 840,000, which is more than 41% of the total number of people employed in the republic's economy. The total number of small and medium-sized businesses exceeded 181,000 entrepreneurs - the first place in the Volga Federal District.

Special attention was paid to the launch of a Single Contact Center (SCC) based on the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. In order to raise awareness and promptly obtain full information about the one-stop shop support available in the republic, the SCC began operating on February 21, 2025. Its task is to ensure interaction with SMEs and citizens by providing information on available government support measures at all levels of government.

"To date, there are only about 30 regional financial support measures. These are measures to support republican business development institutions, ministries and departments, and municipalities. The SCC also provides access to federal support programs, as well as non-financial services from the My Business Center. The Export Support Center," saidNatalia Kondratova.

The SCC involves the use of multifunctional communication channels for the convenience of entrepreneurs: the website of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, online chatbots on social networks and a hotline. At the moment, about a thousand requests have been processed.

The website of the Entrepreneurship Support Foundation has been updated for business convenience. It conforms to modern principles of ergonomics - the interface and user scenarios have been updated. A navigator of support measures has been implemented on the site with convenient filtering by type, volume and conditions of support, target groups, as well as complete information about the necessary documents and application methods. Natalia Kondratova noted that this functionality and a set of support measures will continue to be updated and filled on an ongoing basis.

An entrepreneur's calendar has been created on the website, which includes a list of past and current events and events for business, where entrepreneurs can get acquainted with the life of the business community of the republic and apply for participation in meetings of interest online. As an example, the speaker cited the recent entrepreneurship training program for veterans of the SMO.

From March 15 to March 16, the Ministry, together with the Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation, implemented an entrepreneurship training program for veterans of the Special Military Operation (SMO) and their family members, aimed at forming and developing the competencies required for students to develop a project idea, develop a business plan, create a project team, and search for financing of sources for the implementation of the project and the implementation of the project idea in the business. This is the second stream of the program. As part of the first one, implemented in December 2024, 25 veterans of the SMO were trained, 6 of whom have already become SMEs and started their own business. This year, 21 people have already participated in person and 84 online. 

In addition, a news block and a selection of cases of successful entrepreneurs who have taken advantage of support measures in the region are available on the site. The resource also contains other useful information - the current SME development program in the republic, information on business support infrastructure, including industrial parks, and direct access to the country's investment map.

 According to the speaker, a single contact center is a tool for speeding up all business processes. It is convenient because it accumulates all the financial and non-financial support measures in the region at a "click away" from entrepreneurs. This is a modern solution that allows you to conduct business communication with government agencies through a "single window", which helps optimize time costs in order to focus on business expansion.
