Training and scholarships: a program for citizens planning to become self-employed has been launched in Tatarstan

Today more than 94 thousand citizens are registered as self-employed in Tatarstan. For those who are just planning to obtain this status, with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, a free educational program “Start of the Self-Employed” has been launched. In addition to useful knowledge and practical skills of entrepreneurship, program participants will receive a scholarship of 50 thousand rubles to start their own business.

From October 27, 2020 to November 30, 2020, the Republic of Tatarstan will host a free educational program “Start of the Self-Employed” for residents of the republic aged 18 to 65 who plan to become self-employed, or who are already registered in this status and conduct their activities no earlier than from August 2020.

The project involves 6 lessons on development and promotion of microbusiness from leading entrepreneurs and experts of Tatarstan. Program participants will receive legal advice on self-employment issues, government support measures, business cases from self-employed mentors who have already achieved a profit of 300 thousand rubles per month.

Based on the results of the training, the 5 best graduates will receive a scholarship of 50 thousand rubles as financial support for the start. All participants who complete the training will be awarded with a personal certificate of the program completion.

 

The program is implemented within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Business and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative” and the regional project “Popularization of Entrepreneurship” in the Republic of Tatarstan by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
