Three new production facilities will be launched at the “Alabuga” SEZ
A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the SEZ PPT “Alabuga” took place today in Kazan. The event was held in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
Within the framework of the event, three investment projects were considered.
Aurus, Limited Liability Company, plans to launch the production of armored and unarmored vehicles of the AURUS brand. The project provides for the organization of an assembly plant with an area of 17 thousand square meters on the territory of the Industrial and Technological Park “Synergy 4.1”, as well as organization of welding and painting production at the expense of the service provided by the industrial partner “Sollers Ford”. Production launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. It is planned to produce 542 cars per year. Private investment will amount to 6.6 billion rubles. 132 jobs will be created by 2024.
The investment project of Continent Production Solutions, Limited Liability Company, involves the production of refrigeration and freezing equipment using the technology of the Chinese company Midea Group. New production with a total area of 24 thousand square meters will be located in the Industrial and Technological Park “Synergy 4.2”. The commissioning of production is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021. The planned production volume is 350 thousand units per year. The volume of private investment will amount to 1 billion rubles. Thanks to the implementation of this project, 276 new jobs will be created.
The third project is planned to be implemented by the existing resident ST Alabuga, Limited Liability Company. The new project of the company involves the organization of production of molded panels for isothermal vans with an area of 5031.6 square meters on the territory of the Industrial Park “Synergy 4.1”. The launch of production is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021. The planned volume of production of passenger minibuses, freight transport and special vehicles on the territory of the special economic zone “Alabuga” will amount to 4,500 vehicles per year by 2022. 247 million rubles of private investment will be allocated for the implementation of this project. It is planned that 144 new jobs will be created.
Following the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the “Alabuga” SEZ, all three investment projects were approved.
To date, the SEZ “Alabuga” has 33 operating production facilities, more than 7 thousand jobs have been created. The volume of private investment is 140 billion rubles.
