Entrepreneurship Support Fund exceeded microloans by 41% for the first quarter of 2020

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan for the first quarter of 2020 issued 97 microloans worth 197 million rubles. This is 41% more than the same period last year. The funds received were used to expand production, purchase modern equipment and open new business lines.

The fund provides assistance in obtaining dozens of support types for entrepreneurs provided by public and private entities. So, for the first quarter of 2020, the Fund held 11 educational events for small and medium-sized businesses and individuals who are only planning to open their own business, the number of participants in the events has reached four hundred people. All knowledge gained is real cases that contribute to the development of entrepreneurial activity in the republic.

In January-February, the Export Support Center, which is part of the Fund’s structure, organized the participation of 14 small and medium-sized businesses in international exhibitions in the UAE and Uzbekistan in the areas of healthcare, construction materials and food. In turn, 73 entities applied to the Center for translation of company presentation materials into foreign languages ​​and for advice on foreign economic activity. Also, with the assistance of the Center, 6 companies entered into export contracts with foreign partners from Germany, the UAE, Qatar, Hungary and the CIS countries. One of them entered into an export contract with China by placing its products on the Epindu electronic site.

Patent research was conducted for a dozen small and medium-sized enterprises, in turn, campaigns on promotion of products on the market were organized for 3 small and medium-sized enterprises.

The “My Business” Center, which is also a part of the ESF structure, provided 5,121 services for 1,100 SMEs and self-employed citizens in the first quarter. Basically, these are advisory non-financial support measures.

Let us recall that in the current epidemiological situation, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to operate normally. For the convenience and safety of entrepreneurs, an application for provision of services can be submitted remotely through the ФАСТТРЕК portal.

In addition, with the assistance of the Fund and the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan, a hotline is operating to support entrepreneurship in the republic: +7 (843) 524-90-90. In turn, entrepreneurs can submit proposals for doing business in crisis conditions by number: +7 (843) 222−05−06. The Fund’s specialists note that, in connection with the current epidemiological situation, it is important to know what small and medium-sized businesses need and what measures will help entrepreneurs to overcome the consequences of the crisis.

At the end of March, on behalf of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan together with the Fund launched a series of anti-crisis conferences “Adaptation Technologies”. The project was created to quickly adapt entrepreneurs to current conditions and is part of the business support ecosystem. The conferences were attended by over 15 thousand entrepreneurs.
