Tatarstan takes 3rd place in housing commissioning in Russia

According to the results of January-February 2020, the Republic of Tatarstan takes 3rd place among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of housing commissioning. 578.1 thousand square meters of total living area were commissioned in the first two months of the year.

In terms of industrial production, Tatarstan ranks 5th among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and 8th - in construction. As for the retail trade turnover, here the republic took 6th place, the proceeds from the sale of goods to the population for personal consumption or for household use in January-February 2020 amounted to 151.5 billion rubles. Among the regions of the Volga Federal District, Tatarstan ranks 1st in all of the macro indicators listed above.

In January-February this year, the republic produced 37.5% of the Russian volume of trucks, 32.6% of the production of ethylene polymers in primary forms, 13.5% of detergents production, 6.5% of oil production from the total Russian volume.
