On February 7 afternoon, security guards discovered an abandoned shopping bag near the entrance to the building of the Ministry of Economy

In order to ensure security under the existing regulations, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs were called to the place at the signal of the “panic alarm”; squad arrived within a few minutes.

In the course of the measures taken, the owner of the bag was identified; he turned out to be an elderly man. As a resident of Kazan explained, he arrived at the mosque for Friday prayer and, in order not to inconvenience the parishioners, he decided to leave personal items outside the mosque.

Employees of the departments additionally checked the building of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, security measures are observed in the normal mode.
