More than 29 thousand self-employed people live in Tatarstan

More than 29 thousand inhabitants of Tatarstan have registered self-employed, 8 of them are 753 living in Kazan, 2 631 in Naberezhnye Chelny, 1165 self-employed people live in the Nizhnekamsk municipal district, 1 111 – Almetievsk, 1097 – in Zelenodolsky district.

Most self-employed people work in  taxi business. On the second and third place are  housing and advisory services. Moreover, self-employed are engaged in tutoring, programming, marketing and advertising.

Register self-employed, in addition to the traditional way - through the application of the FTA of Russia "My tax" - you can through the portal of public services of the Russian Federation and mobile applications of partner banks.

In September, the Bank "AK bars" promised the self-employed, registered through the mobile application "AK bars online", to return part of the paid taxes in universal miles or in the form of cashback rubles.

The new regime also has its own tax deduction. The amount of 10 000 rubles the state allocates to each registered self-employed in advance - to reduce the amount of tax. The tax deduction is provided once and allows to reduce the tax on income from individuals to 3%, and on income from legal entities – to 4%.

The experiment on the tax regime for the self-employed started on January 1, 2019. So far it operates in four pilot regions: Moscow, Moscow region, Kaluga region and Tatarstan. It can be used by citizens who do not have an employer and employees, create a product or service on their own, and whose income does not exceed 2.4 million rubles per year. They can pay tax without any reporting at the rate of 4% (for working with individuals) and 6% (for working with companies and individual entrepreneurs).
