Yandex.Market will be located in Tatarstan
The choice of the company will ensure the development of new sales channels for Tatarstan manufacturers and will contribute to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the republic.
The decision of Yandex.Market, which became the result of extended negotiations, was announced on May 31 at a meeting of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, General Director of Yandex.Market Maksim Grishakov and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev.
During a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan, the management of Yandex.Market visited the Zelenodolsk industrial site, the Q-Park Kazan logistics complex and Innopolis, where they got acquainted with all possibilities for implementing a large investment project.
“Today, online sales in Tatarstan exceed 10 billion rubles, and this figure is steadily growing, which underlines the importance of our partnership with Yandex.Market. In our cooperation there is a great potential for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises of the republic and, first of all, for local producers. These are new modern sales channels, and we will give their development special attention”, noted the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiyev.
Let us recall that earlier the decision to build their own logistics parks in the Republic of Tatarstan was also made by the Romex company for X5 Retail Group and OZON.
