Tatarstan project passed to the second stage of the Digital Solutions Competition

The Tatarstan project “Forecast of the Need for Construction of Kindergartens” successfully passed to the second round of the Digital Solutions Competition. It started in Kazan as part of the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia”.

This project involves forecasting and assessing the needs of cities and districts of Tatarstan in kindergartens for the next 10 years - based on big data accumulated in the republican information systems “Electronic kindergarten” and “Civil State Acts Registration Office”.

The proposed forecast model will use information on the current priority for enrollment in kindergartens and fertility forecast data. Information on the number of children in the context of each kindergarten, the number of applications for enrollment in kindergartens, the number of children born in the Republic of Tatarstan, women of reproductive age and other indicators will also be taken into account.

The model developed by the data analyst will allow the algorithm to be used for proper targeted planning for the construction of kindergartens for a 10-year perspective.

In total, 30 projects from 17 regions will be presented at the second stage. The prize fund starts from 1 million rubles.

The organizer is the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The Digital Solutions Competition is aimed at solving the socio-economic problems of regions through creation and implementation of solutions and products based on working with data.
