Changes to Strategy 2030 are approved

On April 5, President Rustam Minnikhanov signed the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Approval of the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030”.

The changes were prepared taking into account new trends in the global economy, adoption of regulatory legal documents at the federal level, including the May decree on national goals and strategic objectives for development of Russia for the period up to 2024.

Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiyev presented the draft law at the State Council meeting of the Republic of Tatarstan on March 18, 2019. As part of the meeting, the draft law was adopted in the first reading and in whole.

“This is an important strategic planning document for the republic, including all main directions of the social and economic development of the Republic. Much work has been done. It is especially pleasant to note that citizens' initiatives are included in the document and by 2030 all of them will be implemented”, noted the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev.

The innovations reflect proposals of executive bodies of state power, local governments, enterprises, organizations, educational institutions and citizens' initiatives left on the website of strategic initiatives.

The changes were prepared taking into account studies of migration processes, inter-agglomeration processes and inter-municipal interaction of the Republic of Tatarstan, proposals based on the results of measures taken to form proposals for amending the Strategy-2030.

The issue of amendments was considered at meetings of the Public Councils of the executive bodies and local governments, collegiums on results of the work of the executive bodies for 2018, reporting sessions of municipalities, citizens gatherings, meetings with members of the Public Chamber and trade unions.
