360 million to support innovative projects of Tatarstan

More than 500 projects were presented by Tatarstan in competitions for programs supporting the Fund for Promotion of Innovation in 2018. 104 of them became winners, which is 40% more than in 2017. For further development, they received more than 360 million rubles.

Innovative ideas were presented in competitions by the following programs:

- “Smart Boy” - support for young scientists,

- “Start” - creation of new and support of existing small innovative enterprises seeking to develop and master production of a new product, technology or service,

- “Development” - financial support for implementation of R&D in the framework of innovative projects,

- “Internationalization” - support of organizations participating in implementation of innovative projects in the framework of bilateral and multilateral international cooperation programs,

- “Commercialization” - providing financial support to small innovative enterprises that have completed R&D and are planning to create or expand the production of innovative products.

Participation in the programs of the Fund contributes to development of technology companies of the Republic of Tatarstan, solution of issues of innovations commercialization, as well as increasing the competitiveness of national producers in domestic and foreign markets.
